Anda & Arlene's Appalachian Trail - Walk to Remember

Two Ottawa area women recently completed their hike of the entire Appalachian Trail. They started in March 2015 and thought they would finish in September 2015 .. but they finished one month ahead of schedule. Little Voice Book - Forget Me Not Project

In honour of Teresina Bernardo, Little Voice book donates a portion of book sales to support Alzheimer’s research, programs and initiatives!

fountain-cropped2In addition, the Little Voice book team of author Amanda Bernardo and illustrator Samantha Clusiau-Lawlor annually participate in the Walk for Alzheimer’s fundraising event.
Their ongoing efforts include:
• Volunteering at the Walk for Alzheimer’s
• Becoming a Dementia Friend Canada
• Donating to the Alzheimer Society through the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign
• Taking advantage of community opportunities to help the Alzheimer Society such as the application in a community campaign that resulted in an $1,000 donation to the Alzheimer Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County from eTALK Canada and Starbucks Canada on behalf of Little Voice book
• Ongoing third party events to raise awareness and money for the Alzheimer Society (Dream Girl film release)
